KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Jeff Lewis

Jeff Lewis is currently the Mobilization & Discipleship Specialist for Sixteen:Fifteen  and the founder/director of Thirteen~FiftyTwo. He was the assistant professor of Intercultural Studies for 18 years, the director of Mobilization for 4 years, at California Baptist University, and the co-founder and co-director of Passion Conference from 1996 to 2000. Jeff Lewis is also well-known as the author of God's Heart for the Nations, Christ Love Compels Me, and Calling: A Scriptural Journey.

Jeff Lewis has extensive experience in mobilizing & disciple-making ministries for 36 years and assisted with indigenous mobilization leadership training and mobilization consultation with mission personnel in over 30 countries.  Jeff has been married to Elaine and they have 7 adult children and 20 grandchildren so far.

Keith Park

As the founding and lead pastor of the Church of Southland, Keith Park is never content to simply “go with the flow.” Keith is driven to lead a church that is clear in purpose – the salvation of souls and the inward and outward healing of broken people. It is his sincere prayer that Southland would be a church of warmth and open doors but more importantly, a place where people meet and experience God.

After pioneering ministries with several campus groups, along with the ACTS Fellowship and Petra churches in Canada, Keith Park arrives at this point a well-traveled man with a wide range of experiences. An alumnus of Fuller Theological Seminary, he came to California with a very real commitment to a holistic approach to Christian service. Keith also serves on the Acts Ministries International (AMI) Leadership Team. AMI is a global community of churches seeking to model the spirituality, vision, and partnership exemplified in the book of Acts.AMI is committed to developing disciples of Christ within its churches while spreading the gospel through church planting and missions.

Bob Peckham

Bob served in Asia for many years in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. Now, as US Director of Frontiers, he has the honor of leading a ministry whose sole purpose is the fulfillment of the Great Commission among all peoples. Frontiers’ long-term teams serve in 50 nations, proclaiming the Good News, discipling new believers, training leaders in reproducible Bible study methods, and catalyzing multiplying house churches. We are always searching for the places where the Gospel is not being lived out and shared so we can fill that gap. It is Bob’s joy to lead Frontiers’ US efforts of calling, training, and sending this new generation to the frontiers.

SPEAKERS

Jeannie Marie

Jeannie Marie is the author of Across the Street and Around the World and creator of The Neighbors and Nations course and Inviting Muslims to Follow Jesus in her training company Jeanie Marie Academy. She is also a strategist for an international organization that sends people to serve in over fifty Muslim countries. A practitioner and mobilizer, she has befriended international students, welcomed refugees, worked with community development nonprofits - and lived in India with her husband and four children as kingdom entrepreneurs.

Andy Pearce

God has transformed Andy from a timid, introverted homebody growing up in a small Santa Barbara County beach town to an extroverted global ambassador for Christ in Southern California with hundreds of local cross-cultural friendships. He is Director of Church Partnerships for International Students, Inc. (ISI) with a focus on equipping the Body of Christ for fruitful cross-cultural engagement among unreached people groups. He speaks English, Spanish, and Gujarati, and has “phrasal fluency” in 9 other languages. 

Prior to joining ISI, Andy was a high school math teacher for ten years and a textbook sales representative for four years. He has a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, MAs in Theology and Education and a PhD in International Development. He teaches 30 Perspectives of the World Christian Movement classes per year and serves as an adjunct professor at Trinity International University. Andy and his wife Sandy have been married for 33 years and have raised five TCKs (Third Culture Kids).

Tony Kemp

"Tony" and his wife "Tessa" are the founders of the Studio Internship.  They served as pioneer churches planters among unreached people groups in Central and South Asia for 25 years before returning to the US as trainers. They’ve worked among five different language groups and were blessed to have helped establish thriving churches in four of these countries. During these years they led church planting teams and served as area leaders in two countries, they also assisted in pioneer Bible translation work, and helped bring Bibles to locations where access was severely restricted.  Tony has a Ph.D. in economics and has worked overseas as both a professor and a businessman.  He has authored two foreign language economics textbooks.  He and his wife raised their three boys overseas through their high-school years.

Tony and Tessa returned to the USA in 2016 to establish the Studio Internship. Studio is a community of practice where new missionaries learn and minister alongside a community of veteran workers in the USA. Studio's mission is to glorify God by preparing interns to catalyze church planting movements among all Muslim peoples worldwide.

Workshop Speakers

Jason Adams-Brown

Jason Adams-Brown is currently the Director of Missionary Support and a UPG Trauma Specialist with Global Gates. He completed a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy after seeing the impact of trauma among a UPG he was serving in Indonesia for 10 years that experienced decades of Civil War and then the largest natural disaster of our lifetime. He later was on the leadership team for the Southeast Asian Region of the IMB and served as Associate Cluster leader supervising teams in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. He has also completed Trauma certification with the Trauma Healing and Institute and another from Crisis Care International. Jason grew up in India and Thailand as a TCK. His wife Lori is also a TCK from Venezuela and they have 3 children and currently live in Los Gatos, CA.

Jenn & John Chen

John and Jenn are second gen Asian Americans who have lived out God’s calling in Asia for over twenty years. Jenn is a leadership coach and spiritual director and John is a leadership catalyst for Pioneers. They are currently based in Seattle where they also co-direct Summit Clear, a nonprofit focused on cross cultural leadership, engagement, and renewal. Jenn’s forthcoming book, Dim Sum on Sundays is about how God uses our stories to shape our souls. John is writing a post-apocalyptic novel featuring an Asian American protagonist to explore the theology of grief, home, and family. They have four adult children who continue to learn what it means to live out their true identity in Christ in this broken world.

Ajay Samuel

Ajay Samuel is the Associate Director of the Pasadena International House of Prayer (PIHOP).  He is passionate about intimacy with Christ and it is connected to forming Christ like character with the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. At PIHOP, Ajay teaches on fellowshipping with The Holy Spirit and equipping others to better hear the voice of The Holy Spirit through the Scriptures.Ajay comes from Texas and has a background of investment banking and raising awareness of non-profit work. He and his wife Stephanie are pursuing acting. He has acted in community theatre in Dallas - Fort Worth and was part of a musical done by YWAM, New York.  He lives in Pasadena and longs to see Jesus be glorified in The Body of Christ and the marketplace.

David & Ro

David and Ro are 1.5 gen Asian Americans who have lived out God’s calling serving the Chinese world for over 20 years. David is an accomplished technology business leader recently retired from Microsoft developing AI products. He was also the founder and GM of the award winning technology startup incubator for Microsoft. Ro published five books and three more together with David, covering topics of marriage, parenting and education. They produce online courses; coach/consult with startups and emerging leaders and serve on the executive leadership team of a missions agency specializing in sending professionals to the unreached. They have raised three adult TCK sons and are currently members of Tapestry LA. They are avid rock climbers and readers. Their dream is to live and work in the Middle East for the second half of their lives.

Hack in a Box

Every Christian community faces common challenges such as cross-generational partnerships, sustainable community impact, innovation support, utilizing the marketplace skills of believers, and translating faith into action. “A Hack In A Box” is a brief, three-hour mini-hackathon employing design thinking to identify pain points. It facilitates collaborative brainstorming for crafting solutions, activating diverse skills, and encouraging critical reflection on faith. This process empowers believers to actively contribute to creating and implementing initiatives aligned with their shared beliefs and abilities.

Kyle serves as Strategy Manager for Indigitous US. He builds strategies to reach young adults and empowers them to become the next innovative leaders in missions. Kyle’s family served in Kenya medical missions. He is spoken word artist, podcast host, and producer. Kyle is married to Hope and enjoys comics, pop culture, rap and folk music.
