CHURCH AT HOME
Sundays 11AM Livestream
Parenting Seminar by Pastor Ryun
If you are looking to raise your kids to be conscientious, compassionate and concerned human beings out of their love for God, then come and hear the kinds of mistakes Pastor Ryun has made and learn from him as a father of 3 kids and AMI teaching pastor. It will be on Zoom on Saturday, December 12 from 10am-12pm.
Going through the Story of the Kingdom, Tapestry wanted to commemorate the sermon series by creating a collaborative visual artbook that reflected our church’s journey through this season. We invited our church members to reflect on what God has shown them during this time and use various creative mediums to share their inspiration. Our hope is that this artbook can showcase the many voices of our congregation and be an opportunity for creative worship. Tapestry’s Kingdom artbook is now available online for viewing, and if you would like to purchase a physical copy, you can pre-order it for $25 (printing cost).
Our Guatemala missionaries are inviting us to partner with them to give monthly for 1 year to support their various ministries. You can give any amount for 12 months specifically to any of these funds based on which ministries you would like to support: Education, Entrepreneurship, Food Security, Medical Care, and Church Planting. Depending on which fund you give to, you will hear regular updates about the pertinent ministry from the missionaries so that you can learn about who your funds are affecting and how they are being multiplied to bear fruit. If you would like to give, please commit by filling out a pledge form.
Drawing from The Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25, Tapestry Talents gives individuals an opportunity to share their skills or talents through their own safe in-person class where 100% of the class fee is donated to local missions. All of the funds raised through these classes will go to help Crete Academy and as a special bonus five generous members of Tapestry have offered to match the funds raised through your admission. So your gift will go five times as far! Here are some of the classes being offered: taking your Rollerblading to the next level with Jane Oak, How to start a restaurant including a bonus Açaí bowl with Bonnie Kim, painting with a professional artist featuring Eric Son and the fundamentals of archery with Danny Choi. All of the classes will be held on November 21st.
Due to the recent rise of COVID-19 cases both nationally and locally, we have decided to pause all in-person services for at least the weeks of November 29th and December 6th. We made this decision prayerfully and out of an abundance of caution in response to this most recent rise in cases. We will continue to broadcast every Sunday at 11am.
